Admissions
The MBA and MSIS programs are offered to students with a four-year program completed at IIHEM or with an equivalent degree from another institution, and with satisfactory grades on their transcripts.

Students must also fulfill the admission requirements concerning the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores as defined by the participating American universities.

Registration
For registration in an MBA or MSIS program, an admission form must be completed and submitted to the IIHEM admissions office by the specified deadline.

Admission decisions are selective and are based both on the evaluation of the application and on the Institute’s capacity to accept students.

English requirement
  • A minimum score of 500 in the TOEFL is required for admission into the “Foundation Program."
  • A minimum score of 530 in the TOEFL is required for admission into the "Core Program."
  • The minimum TOEFL and GMAT official score results required by a partner American university must be obtained before an application can be forwarded to that university.
  • The student must pass at least two periodic institutional TOEFL tests during each semester/session.
  • A first official test must be taken one semester before the end of the "Core Program."

Prerequisites
IIHEM students may be admitted directly into the MBA or MSIS Core Program without having to take the seven courses of the Foundation Program if they satisfy any one of the following conditions:
  • a minimum GPA of 2.8 in the eight semesters of their program or a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the courses taken in the semesters 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the IIHEM program.
  • a minimum grade of “B” in one or more courses taken in each of the following fields: statistics, economics, marketing, management, accounting, finance, information systems.
Applicants that do not have a degree in Business Administration are required to take the prerequisite courses of the Foundation Program before they enroll in MBA or MSIS courses.
The duration of study of the MBA and the MSIS programs is fourteen months for full-time IIHEM students who meet the admission requirements.
The MBA and MSIS programs consist of up to six required academic courses in Rabat, Morocco, with the rest of the courses to be completed during two semesters (fall, spring, summer) in Texas. Participants study under the same academic conditions as students completing the entire MBA or MSIS program in Texas.

These courses fulfill degree requirements for each of the five participating universities.

The courses to be completed in Texas are specified by the university awarding the degree.

Students who successfully complete their degree program will receive the MBA or MSIS diploma at the end of their second summer of study in Texas.

The degree is awarded by one of the five American public universities accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: The MBA and MSIS degrees are recognized by the Moroccan government as being equivalent to the Moroccan D.E.S. degree (Official Bulletin N° 4108 of July 24, 1991).
